Neap works hard on a daily basis to make sure Jynxed is able to safely walk about the house, but more importantly he assists her when she goes out to the doctors. Many other service Ruffies are trained for a more common disability with a focused area of service work, but Neap works as a mobility assistance, psychiatric rescue, and fainting and seizure alert dog! This means that most times he is helping Jynxed walk more easily, either by supporting underneath her or gently pulling while supporting so she can more easily "fall" into her strides, meaning she can walk further without a wheelchair! If Jynxed starts having a panic attack or even is just feeling depressed, Neap knows it's time to rush to her side and get his nose in her face to lick at her and nose her face until she starts laughing. The next step is to lay on top of her until she's nice and calm again. He also whines and paws and jumps on her if she's going to faint, and then will lay on top of her until she is okay to stand up again, slowly, or Neap will start laying right back on top! If it's going to be a seizure Neap tells her by barking at her. He knows he can be very loud, and uses those big-boy barks at home to warn everyone about the owl outside, so when he's working he is careful to not get too loud. But he will keep getting louder until Jynxed realizes that Neap is telling her that there is a problem!

Those are a lot of tasks! But that's why he gets pizzle-stick chicken broth ice pops and a monthly pick of all the best treats from the local shop! He even gets freshly baked ruffie treats when Jynxed is able to make them! They even have ruffie-safe icing! Neap also gets all the love and pets he could possibly want, just like such a hard working ruffie deserves!
