Mavith is from a long line of aquatic dragons. He was born to Rinevra Gosmerin and Oskith Korvis, as was his brother Telphon Gosmerin Korvis. The brothers were the only eggs the pair ever laid before they were caught and Oskith was sentenced to be beheaded for laying with the princess. Any lesser person this may have destroyed, but Rinevra buried her grief, letting it fuel her. She planned to ascend to the throne by any means necessary.
