Herfst means Fall / Autumn in Dutch.

Autumn, also known as Fall, is one of the four seasons.
It marks the transition from summer to winter.
It's also the season when daylight becomes noticeably shorter and the temperature cools considerably.
Days are shorter and nights are longer as the season progresses until the Winter Solstice in December.
One of it's features is the change in colour off the leaves of trees as they prepare to shed.
