i'm a succa for you

You ever get that feeling that no matter what happens in your life, you will always have one thing that you can love forever ... beside loved ones??? That sometimes, you have to find something that will help you get away from everyone or thing and give you a bit of peace? Well, for me it's cacti and succulents!

They spark this joy that I have never found before. And I think it's fun to find the newest, or rarest. I never knew there were so many different types. They are fascinating to me. They can survive with little to no attention or water. Like really, if I forget water ... my body starts screaming so many things are wrong! And if they are happy, they can produce blooms, beautiful, amazing blooms!

It all started with a small cactus gift from a friend. I had to look up how to care for it, thinking I was going to kill it with my not so green thumb or if I forgot to water it. Turns out ... I killed it by over watering it. That was when I decided to get another and see if I could keep it alive. And I did! It was so happy that it grew and bloomed. Before long, I added another, and another, and another. Then I realized one day that I had no bare windowsills left and that I needed to either stop collection succulents and cacti or find new ways to put in the new ones I found. So I did. I started hanging them, layering them in big pots, building shelves in front of a few of my windows. I kinda got out of control ... but I enjoyed it in every way! And my friends decided that I needed to not only collect the real things, but start decorating with them as well! It's cute!
