Inspiration: a Cthulhu Mythos deity, as well as the Sandman comics’ Delirium of the Endless
Formerly the entity known variously as Curiosity, Joy, or Delight. Something that she saw drove her mad, and she took a new name: Delirium. She rarely settles in one place or keeps the same opinion for long, and facts about her change every day — whether it’s her suppposed name (sometimes it’s Hysteria), her physical form, or even her entire existence. Sometimes she is nowhere to be found and, when later questioned, claims she simply ceased to be real for a time, an action that to her is no more unusual than taking a nap. She considers everyone a friend, but some dislike her; the one who likes and relates to her the best is her “big brother” Voltiyig, but she has many friends and family members, some real and others imaginary.
Minion: Her cat Istasha is seen most often, though Del claims to have two pets. The other is a fairylike being, beautiful but normally invisible, named Lythalia. Lythalia is evidently the sister of Istasha, though since Istasha cannot speak she neither confirms nor denies this claim.
