I literally thought that someone had adopted this baby girl out from under my nose, because when I clicked adopt there was no confirmation screen and when I looked back she was gone. I went to my profile and she WASN'T THERE and I was so sad ... and then I looked in my events tab a full day later and I had an event telling me I'd received the "Own a Bloodred pet achievement" and I went hUH?
