When Andean Hawking, the Fester, swore loyalty to RitualDeadlyf, he would have never imagined what she could have been capable of. Andean was one of the most intelligent Festers known among locally in Subeta, feeding off the desire of expanding his knowledge with a goal to read every book known to Subeta. When you would imagine a Fester feasting away at a carcass, Andean is picking away at a book. RitualDeadlyf supported his habits and desires, even helping him open his own alchemy shop known as "Hawking Alchemy". Their bond was strong, and they would frequently support each other with great care. But when she started to discover a calling for "Subetian Animal Welfare", saving those in need, her path took a dark turn. RitualDeadlyf started working with Dr. Euclid in attempts to infiltrate his trust and save the experiments that were suffering at his expense. Her heart of gold would shine for all of them in need, even taking some home to care for them in the -guise of "further research". Eventually, that heart of gold began to weigh heavily and corrode the more influenced she became by Dr. Euclid. Losing her way, the once protective woman in search of justice became interested in his experiments. Eventually, Andean Hawking, was selected to be one of their experiments - her most loyal companion, volunteering for the sake of their relationship. For a while, the Pet Zapper done nothing towards Andean aside from filling his stomach to satisfy hunger which was an odd result. RitualDeadlyf was conflicted and appeared eager for something to change either it be the appearance or color of his feathers. Her wish finally came true at an expense she'll never recover from. Darkness filled the room making it near impossible to see what had taken place. A low, fierce echo filled the chambers as orange, glowing streaks began to flow freely. Dr. Euclid was able to bring forth some light revealing a large creature the size of a Mortiking, perhaps even larger, engulfed by flame-like shadows. With a soft amused whisper, RitualDeadlyf spoke; "Bhaal...." The mythical god of murder. That is what she saw in the eyeless face of the creature in front of them. A sense of fear shot down her spine like a bitter cold gust of wind as the sense of amusement disappeared - coming into realization. Bhaal could have taken her life then and there, but instead it would only breathe deeply into her face. There was a sense of familiarity among them and at that moment, tears rolled down her face. Andean was still within, that she was sure of. Their strong bond was severed, and she had lost her only true friend. Bhaal is a fierce creature that has a natural thirst for blood which has been difficult for RitualDeadlyf to maintain. The consequences of her actions, and a regret that she'll never be able to move on from. Every day, she remains in a state of self-discipline and denial, mentally battling herself into exhaustion over her actions. Despite her emotions, she holds no anger towards Dr. Euclid. Her focus is to train Bhaal to be able to fight in the Coliseum to help justify his hunger. Once in a while, Bhaal will change perspectives and have a desire to read, continuing his education. It's believed that Andean still makes a faint presence when strong enough to alter Bhaal's mindset. It's not clear how long Andean can make an influence at a time but there's not a day she wishes that she could turn back time. They're working on helping Bhaal develop speaking skills, but his choice of words has been less than ideal; "Eat", "Kill", and "Now" are his most frequent choice of words. In honor of her beloved partner, "Hawking Alchemy" remains open in his name. While Andean can no longer create potions, RitualDeadlyf has been working hard to learning the ropes. Though, some days she tries to receive shipments to relieve some of the stress and sell what she can. All of her proceeds go towards raising abandoned animals from Adopt-R-Us in hopes she can find them more suitable homes. Unfortunately, RitualDeadlyf still seems to participate in experiments on occasions but has made sure to keep her projects away from animals in need, keeping them unharmed and pure. It's not clear what her intentions are now.
