Justice doesn't always mean fairness.

Born in the forest of Valenwood Alina was always shunned by her people. Born to a full blooded Bosmer father and a High Elf Mother Alina was doomed from the time she was conceived. For the elven people of Valenwood outsiders where rarely allowed, and once allowed into the blessed forest they had to take an oath to stay. Her mother did just this, but she also kept a horrible secret. One that came out shortly after she had given birth. Alina was born with the tanned skin of her Bosmer father and dark red flowing hair of her mother however, she was also born with dull gray eyes. The eyes of the soulless, aka vampires. That is when everything went wrong rather quickly. Her mother was quickly sought out by the chief of the tribe when the news flowed up the ranks and he paid them a visit. He spoke to her father whom shunned Alina after the realization that she carried the vampire gene, regardless of how much the mother pleaded with him he spoke against her. It was put to a vote. Alina was to be taken far away from the forest to live in the land of her mothers people. As for her mother? She was sentenced to death for her deceit.Growing up with her mothers people Alina learned many things that would benefit her later in life, but unlike the other children she did not hold the affinity with magik as they did with ease. She also did not look like them ,her eyes made her stand out and her darkened skin. Thankfully her instructors saw pity on her and began a special regime just for her. They began to train her away from the other children and even taught her ways to conceal her "oddities". Of course they knew of her past and her mother, but how could they turn away a helpless baby. As time went on Alina showed promise in being a warrior, it also helped that her vampire gene showed no reaction and she could eat just like the other children.The day finally came when her future was to be decided. Many came to gather for the ceremony, including the Queen and her consort. Security was on high alert and everyone was a bit on edge as the festivities were coming to an opening. Alina was as happy as the rest of the soon to be graduates. She barely passed her classes but due to her extremely high scores on the battlefield she was deemed worthy to become that of an apprentice to someone of the royal guard. She was ecstatic her chance to shine was about to happen, after everything she's been through. A few hours passed and she stood in line with the rest of her class, beaming proudly as they obtained their seals. Just as she was about to get hers that's when chaos happened and the Queen was struck with an arrow and in charged the army of Bosmers out for blood . Alina's world went black.She woke up in a small farm village not to far from the elf clan, her memories a blur and her attitude not much better. She could remember how she studied at the guild and a few faces but everything else was blank.Now working as a stable hand at one of the farms she hopes to make enough gold to gain her own mount, Buttercup, and continue her journey back to the elven clan and try to help them rebuild, but she wont be weak again. Training everyday to become better with her daggers she refuses to give in. The real question is when will her Vamp powers kick in?
