Rittzi is one of Euclid's experimental species, and like most things that come out of his lab, she is not entirely ordinary. As a side effect of the zapping that brought her into being, she can feel the emotions of those around her as clearly as she can her own. It is not something she asked for, and it’s not always easy. A room full of anxious pets can quickly turn into a sensory overload. A room full of happy ones, though? Well, that she doesn't mind at all.
She has learned over time to manage it. Routine and familiar things help. This is probably why she is so fond of old arcade games. There is something quite calming about a screen that only ever does exactly what it is programmed to do, or a set of rules that never change. She keeps a little collection of cabinets and handheld games from the 90s, most of them in various states of repair, and she spends a lot of time with a soldering iron in her claws and a high score to beat.
Her two best friends are Chilli the spider minion, and Clarence the mildly haunted rainbow donkey piñata.
Between her empathic powers, the electronics around her, the spider, and the piñata, things are rarely boring in her life. Rittzi takes each day one moment and emotion at a time.
