Amytis — The Wonder of the Lost Garden

Entry from the Wonder Archive

Category: 2nd Ancient Wonder · Love · Nature
Origin: The Hanging Gardens of Babylon

One day, she will become Sweetheart.

Long ago, in the ancient city of Babylon, there was said to have existed a garden unlike any other.

Rising above the earth like a paradise between the heavens and the world below, the Hanging Gardens became known as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

According to legend, King Nebuchadnezzar II created this magnificent garden for his wife Amytis, who longed for the green landscapes and mountains of her homeland. Through love and devotion, a piece of a distant home was brought to the heart of Babylon.

Yet the greatest wonder was not only the gardens themselves.
It was the love that gave them life.

From the flowers that bloomed beneath the Babylonian sun and the memories carried by every leaf, a small guardian was born.

A creature of warmth and devotion, carrying the gentle spirit of a paradise created for one heart to comfort another.

They called it Amytis.

Neither a simple creature nor a forgotten tale, Amytis became the living memory of the gardens — a symbol of love, longing, and the impossible made real.

With a heart as gentle as a hidden flower and a presence as peaceful as a dream, Amytis wandered through the gardens she was born from, protecting the beauty that time could never truly erase.

For many years, Amytis watched over the paradise of Babylon. She saw countless visitors walk among the gardens, searching for the beauty of a place that seemed too magical to belong to the mortal world.

She remembered the laughter beneath the blossoms, the whispers carried by the wind, and the devotion that had created a wonder beyond imagination.

But even the greatest wonders are touched by time.

When the Hanging Gardens faded into legend and their existence became a mystery lost between history and myth, Amytis disappeared from the world as well.

Some believe she returned to the hidden gardens of old. Others believe she still searches for those who carry love, memories, and dreams of places they once called home.

Even today, whispers remain.

Some say that a small guardian can still be found among forgotten flowers, beneath golden sunlight, or within gardens that seem to appear where they should not exist.

A keeper of lost paradises.
A symbol of everlasting devotion.
A living wonder born from love.

Because true wonders are not only the places we create.

They are the feelings that make them unforgettable.

Amytis
The Guardian of the Lost Garden.
The Keeper of Eternal Love.
A living wonder of the world.
