History: Duske was born a younger prince in the desert kingdom of Malkuth. He grew up learning sword arts and sorcery from the master at arms and royal sorcerer, training with the intention of being his elder sister's guard when she took the throne. However, when Duske was sixteen, his uncle staged a coup, murdering the king and his family. Duske managed to escape through the grace and sacrifice of his swords master, who warned him of the attack and urged him to flee with the heirloom swords of the kingdom. The master died fighting off the usurper's swordsmen.
Duske fled Malkuth and made a life for himself as a mercenary, using the swordsmanship and sorcery he learned to his advantage. He travels around the kingdoms of Thyra, Albion, and Arcadia taking what mercenary jobs he finds while he tries to figure out a way to re-take the throne from his uncle.
When he has free time, he travels to the island kingdom of Lissar to relax and spend time with his friend, Albiore.
