Personality: Graceful. Proper. Poised. He will never flare a temper in civilized argument or stray onto intentional insult-- unless you happened to bring it upon yourself, but provoking such ill-behavior is not wise. At first speaking with him is much like talking to a very well-groomed, very prestigious butler as he is quite serious about his job. However; he is the softer of the Weapons for a reason. He will crack a smile in conversation should you interest him enough, and you will behold a marvelous sight indeed. More friendly and gentle, Ruby is more likely to bend the rules for you than Diamond, though if he is given an order, however unfavorable, he must follow through despite what one might say.. no matter what he might feel.

Weapon
Once a large, flourished colony; the Weapon species had succumb to genocide many millennia ago credited by Serpentine, one of their own. All had once lived in peace in their Real forms on their home world, the massive creatures possessed god-like power and unfathomable figures, each unique as the source they were made from. The first Weapon to ever have been thought up and then created was Diamond-- though he was not given this name until later when more were to be made. Flawless and beautiful with power, the creators decided to bring forth more of this kind so this one would not be alone. Many more had come into existence, all proving uniqueness in midsts of their varying kin. In time the entire world, before vacant, now teemed with this plentiful species, completely free of fault.
However, something went wrong.
Eventually the fresh Weapons were becoming corrupt somehow, acting different and irregular than a typical sort of behavior the others would exhibit. The graceful, kind demeanor was changed to snobbish and cynical, though this did not become apparent for many thousands of years. That was nothing to Weapons, though. With time came thought, and thought brought plot. Plot was put to action and, for the first time in all of existence, there was war.
The majority perished. Essence powdered the ground for miles upon miles after the first treason. Mornings came no one to admire their streaming colors. No one, that is, except for Diamond and Ruby. Ruby had been made much later than Diamond, but it made no difference for now they were all one another had left. No more Weapons were Born after the genocide. The creators never produced any more. Serpentine, now alone with no purpose, had escaped to recuperate else where. Diamond, first of their kin, had made his mark on the venomous, despicable traitor, but that could not warm his heart after the tremendous loss. With nothing left for them, the last Weapons left their world under consent of their creators, seeking purpose elsewhere. After much seeking, they were finally given a task; protection of certain individuals for life or designated time frame. This was to keep the Balance in each world they were assigned in order to prevent events much like that of what occurred in their world. Should they ever fail, the Balance would be lost, and destruction or worse fate would befall whatever realm their charge originated from.
After countless years they still remain much the same, though personalities are now more apparent between the two after so much mingling with mortals and other kinds. They adopted humanoid forms, appropriate to their Original and War figures, as this made it easier to always be near their charge and carry-out bidding. However, through all their many years, Ruby has taken on more 'mortal' personality by the slightest; Should he really be following orders from such impure individuals? Even if it is to keep Balance in the long-run?
