X is probably one of the most pathetic creatures you will ever come across, and definitely one to be pitied. He has so many enemies, and so many other creatures have used and abused him as a punching bag for so long that his will just deteriorated, and he became an even bigger target for more bullies and sadists. He's not a small brute, but it seems he just never learned how to fight and protect himself, and then it eventually got so bad that he just gave up and let it happen. After a while, he stopped trying even to avoid it. The worst part though, is that he never did anything to deserve it all. And perhaps that's what hurts and frustrates him the most.

He makes no effort to take care of himself. Sometimes he won't even eat or drink anything for days, until the pain in his stomach numbs him into a deep depression. And then, when he can't feel anything, he'll wait for the rodents to come pick at him... and devour them whole, bones and all, nearly choking to death in the process. Hoping that he'll choke to death. Again. But nothing works. It's not much of a life, but try as he might he can't end it. He just hides in the basement, never seeing the light of day and refusing contact with all living things. We can't even really say that he lives with us. He just hasn't left yet.
