I had been wanting a dark matter feli for ages so I couldn`t believe my luck when I managed to adopt Nello from the forums. Darnello is a pet that formerly was used as a zapping pet, and thus he was a rather confused individual with a male name and a female gender.

As far as I am concerned he was always male and the female thing is just one of the unfortunate side effects of the lab.

Fortunately a funny thing happened to Nello on January 31st 2009. I fed him a Sex Berry and .... Darnello is now a Male! .

With Nello I wanted like to develop the concept that not Dark Matter pets are evil they are just drawn that way. I am intrigued by the idea of a Dark Matter pet that is still hopeful.

Nello collects candles symbols of hope- of a light that is stronger than the darkness.
