Cast of Characters

Tommy Bubblestump (Amateur Detective)

A most distinguished gentleman, prone to bumbling about murder scenes with wild tales of Russian Spies and Secret Societies. A retired librarian, Tommy Bubblestump finds himself to be bored. Not content to merely read about crime in the local paper, he takes matters in to his own hands and dons his sleuthing cap more often than is necessary, as some might delicately say. Feared by no one, and laughed at by many, Tommy Bubblestump won't rest until justice is served and the innocents spared! Or at the very least, until local law enforcement politely requests that he bumble elsewhere!

Inspector Argyle MacIntosh (The Man With a Badge)

A slow and methodical man, Inspector MacIntosh has earned the respect of his colleagues by having a near perfect "solve" record down at Scotland Yard. Despite being on holiday, he finds himself involved in his most complicated case yet-a seemingly impossible murder!Everyone's a suspect, and Inspector MacIntosh suspects everyone. Question is, which of 'em did it?....

Sir Edger Brent (The Corpse)

The retired politican, Sir Edgar Brent has recently purchased, "Orchard House", a famous estate in the quiet village of Sedlescombe. In honor of his new home, he hosts a weekend party for his friends and family members and along the way manages to get himself murdered. "The great man, struck down in his prime!"Is what the headlines read...but none of his guests cried at the funeral...

Lady Eleanor Brent (The Beneficiary)

That charming and amiable lady, the perfect hostess and perfect wife. For years, Lady Eleanor had stood by her husband's side and looked on as he made a name for himself. Sometimes, she even looked the other way. She may not have had her husband's appetite for politics, but at least now she had his money....

Mr. Raymond Peppard (The Faithful Dog)

Nobody quite knew why the charismatic Sir Edgar had befriended the drab and dreary Raymond Peppard. He was so painfully nondescript as to be almost completely invisible. The two met in school as youngsters, and continued a friendship well in to their golden years. Mr. Peppard was a good friend. He was never jealous of his old chum's fame or luck or fortune, nor of his beautiful wife and lovely homes, and not of his popularity amongst the social elite.....no....Mr. Peppard concluded that Sir Edgar deserved every little thing that he got.

Mrs. Ruth Peppard (The Card Shark)

A nasty bit of goods, Mrs. Ruth Peppard cared about one thing, and one thing only. Cards were her life. Her game of choice? Bridge, naturally! But Mrs. Peppard wasn't quite as good as she had once been, and her debts were piling up. Never one to worry about scruples, she decided that this weekend party would be the perfect time to "manage her finances". Aside from her talents at the card table, she was also quite adept at listening at doors and peering through keyholes. Mrs. Peppard was no fool, but she suffered nonetheless...

Ms. Flora Peppard (The Beauty)

Is there anything quite as lovely as an English rose? Flora Peppard could only be described as "a vision", yet she had none. Coddled by her overbearing mother, Flora had not experienced life outside of the Peppard's ancient cottage. Until she experienced life in Anthony Chase's London flat. And naturally, dear old "Uncle" Edgar disapproved. If only he had the foresight to lock his bedroom door....

Mr. Anthony Chase (The Lady Killer)

Young, handsome, full of life! Anthony Chase was born for the stage, and made to break hearts. He certainly lived up to the latter, as his dear wife could attest to. But it wasn't enough to be the darling of the London theatre, Anthony Chase had to steal the show at the Orchard House party as well! But the show wasn't all he stole....

Mrs. Rosemary Chase (The Invalid)

Harvey Paddington (The Second Fiddle)

Gertrude "Dottie" Harland (The Clue)

Bernard Meriwether- (The Secretary)
