Sunset, the best light and beauty of day condensed into an hour. All its grace and color lavishly painted on an everlasting horizon; the gentleness of twilight trailing behind like the lace edge of an elegant gown. As night emerges, its ghostly master brightens while the stars slowly wax and gleam. Millions glitter in the darkness of space and the Milky Way flows like a stunning cosmic river. Morning arrives and my hooves thud rapidly on the moistened ground. My charcoal fur glows in the soft, winding colors of the morning sun and the sparkling dew that adorns each blade of grass soaks my forelocks. I stop suddenly, my hooves digging into the softened soil, and I turn to witness it fully at the hilltop. The beauty of the morning light is so invigorating. Midday is cheery; the night, both seductive and gentle. But gloaming is so breath-taking and soothing that my heart aches with overflowing appreciation. Spring has erupted into clouds of blossoms and petals, their perfume gracing the fresh breezes. Flowers of all different colors and depths flamboyantly display their beauty in their wide arrays of patterns and petal designs. Their awe-inspiring, dramatic art captivates me, their scent intoxicates me! I adore nature and I my eyes are helplessly bewitched by beauty and grace.
Though I tend to quietly observe, I'm also very playful. But my meek and sensitive nature has often made me the butt of jokes and has excluded me from various forms of company. So I have learned to keep more to myself and spend my time daydreaming, wondering, piecing together and contemplating different aspects of behavior, relationships and morality. I also enjoy reading and creating my own poetry and short stories when inspiration hits.
I really like seeing others happy and I dearly want to be able to make them lighthearted and laugh. Friends, acquaintances or complete strangers, my desire to see others glad is strong enough that none of these levels of familiarity are important to me. However, I am often held back or horribly uncomfortable as I frequently become very shy. But I will try my best for them!
My friends are extremely precious to me. I am always very eager to please them and I'm overjoyed when I can delight them. I'll often bring them flowers from my garden, pretty stones or snacks to share. So if you receive some of these, I really like you!
I also adore pretty knickknacks! I love decorating my house and redecorating when I want something different. It's so much fun to make plans, look for items, personalize my space and coordinate it all into one theme! Music and baking are fun as well, but to be honest, I'm not very good at playing music. But I very much enjoy it and I end up singing to it instead!
Dancing is both a joy and passion of mine. Just as the willow tree dances languidly and alluringly in the wind, I work hard to make my movements flowing and smooth. It is my hope that, some day, my every movement will be as graceful and subtly provocative as the delicate willow.
Avelreth is certainly one I have been admiring for a while. I love that she has and breeds within herself an upright and noble nature yet has a compassionate, gentle and kind heart. She is so easy in conversation with even total strangers and loves making jokes and laughing. She does tend to try to hide unsuitable emotions from her face, voice and actions; and though I don't feel anyone else notices, I'm able to discern when she's truly at ease and when she is not. I always get a thrill when I grow new flowers or bake things as an excuse to either invite her to my home or bring some over and make a visit of it. Her natural disposition relaxes me and makes me more bold. Now I'm comfortable enough with her that I can laugh easily and make my own jokes and teasings. My likes and passions, she originally had an appreciation for but never put them into practice. The more time she has spent with me in my hobbies, the more I can see her blossoming in them and expressing herself. She actually has quite a creative, sensitive side as well if not slightly more technical than my own. Her mind is quick and she is fairly wise and I can see that, though we are different, we are actually much more similar than one might guess.
