Story
Important facts: Jarlath’s father was a widower with only one child. That child was often sick and destined to die early. It was a longsome death, and the banshee responsible for it had pity on its father. They fell in love, and after the child had died, the banshee gave birth to another child, destined to be the opposite of the other one. And indeed, Jarlath grew up to be a strong young man who was happy almost all the time. When his mother had to return to her world, she took his father with her, leaving him all alone. But Jarlath could not be sad about that for long and he soon found a new home at Asfalot’s castle.
Jarlath is almost too happy for Asfalot’s taste, but he’s such a talented actor that he is too important to be dismissed. Besides, his good looks had caught the master’s attention more than once, and so his gay nature and his love for beer are easily forgiven. At the moment, Jarlath is finally growing up and training to become a playwright because there are often not enough talented people to play Shakespeare in Asfalot’s castle.
