As I traipsed around the kitchen I would make up songs of whatever I was doing. Living right by the sea meant plenty of seafood in my recipes. My favorite and most versatile ingredient of course would be fish. I wouldnâ€™t say no to say a crab or some octopus either. Maybe a few oysters or clams in my dinner pot as they can be delicious as well. You get the idea.

"Louis, are you singing again," Carlotta yelled into the Kitchen.

"Oui Madam," I yelled back her. As if she didnâ€™t know. We went through this every day at least once a day. So I didnâ€™t have a perfect voice. So what if it traveled throughout the castle. I was having fun and that in turn meant good cooked food for everyone to eat. Sure there arenâ€™t that many people in the castle but I make sure that the ones here are fed.

â€œQuit it. You've got lots of cooking left to do,â€ she yelled once more.

â€œYeah, yeah,â€œ I mostly grumbled to myself. She would go off in a few moments and then I would get back to cooking and singing. A happy cook is a good cook.
