Kuza was once a noble Soldier of Mithra, the God of the Sun and the God of Victory in War. As one of the few females in Mithra's favor, many envied and despised her. She was proud, honest, loyal, and to her downfall; way too trusting of others.

One evening on her way to her room in Mithra's Castle, where she resides when not in battle, she encounters Hatet, one of Mithra's Soldiers. Momentarily she forgets that he's lower ranked than her and one that is not too pleased with her during what appears to be a brief, friendly and casual conversation. As she turns her back to him to continue down the corridor a glint of hate can be seen in his eyes. As she approaches her bedroom door, several hands grab her from behind and a loud thunk can be heard as she passes out.

When she comes to she recognizes Aros, the old magician, standing over her holding a bottle filled with darkness. The room is dark and the walls made of old stone, she assumes its an old jail below the castle but can't be sure. Many hands hold her down to the floor in an awkward and uncomfortable kneeling pose, making it very difficult to move, even for her with her fighting talents. She recognizes some of the hands as the male soldiers she has commanded in battle.

Aros stands before her chanting then he kneels down and grabs her jaws forcing the dark liquid in the bottle down her throat. Hot fire shoots through her as the liquid travels through her body. The hands leave her as she quivers with the pain. She barely notices that everyone has left the small, dark room.

What feels like a couple hours later she slowly sits up as the burning pain subsides. Little does she know of the transformation the potion has caused. Limping and dazed, she slowly makes her way out of the dark space and emerges into a corridor in the castle. Feeling better as she recognizes the familiar hallway, she makes her way to Mithra's Throne Room. When she walks through the door everyone stops to stare at her. She freezes in the doorway as Mithra himself looks at her and she can see the horror in his eyes. Kuza catches sight of a mirror from the corner of her eye and as she turns to look at herself her eyes begin to reflect the same horror shown in Mithras.

She was no longer the familiar face everyone knew. Looking back at her in the mirror was a dark, shadowy face. She can see a glint of darkness behind her shock and horror filled eyes that never used to be there. Even her aura, which can now be seen, has taken on a dark shape and feel. Anger begins to rise from deep within her, stronger than she's ever felt. The anger replaces any feeling that was in her face. A slight movement catches her eye. When she looks away from the mirror and see's Aros, her anger flares uncontrollably as her gold eyes turn fiery red. She leaps out at his throat but at that moment Mithra steps in front of her shielding Aros from her attack. Unable to stop herself in time, she cuts into Mithra's arm as he pushes her to the ground. Shocked and horrified tears begin to flow from her eyes. Unable to comprehend what has happened, she fleas from the scene as fast as she can, not looking back.

Now she is a shadow of her former self. While still maintaining her vast fighting skills, she now sulks in her misery. Her pride has vanished and her trust destroyed. Still loyal only to Mithra, who has for all she knows forgotten her.

Beware Traveler, fore the shadow she has become is unpredictable.
