Pronunciation of Xia: "X" has a soft "s" sound and "-ia" sounds like the "ya" in yard. If that doesn't make sense try saying "she-YA" really fast with the emphasis on the "-ya."
You are out walking along a sidewalk enjoying a beautiful summer evening when you spot a dark orange kitten curled up sleeping under the edge of a bush. It has small white horns and golden tufts of fur where eyebrows would be. The same golden fur grows from its forehead to the base of its tail in a line. It's so cute you can't help but pet it. It purrs lazily opening its eyes. The eyes are black with golden pupils. They focus on you and the kitten jumps up growling obviously startled. You sit back on you heels calmly not wanting to spook it more.
"It's ok little kitty, I'm not going to hurt you," you say gently hoping it'll calm down.
"First off I'm not a 'little kitty'," it growls, "I'm a mighty Paralix Dragon! Second, Get away from my yard! rarwMEW!" It flinches at the end of its attempt at a roar making you giggle. "You're lucky I can't breathe fire yet or you'd be toast," he spat glaring at you.
"Xia!" someone yells from the house. He glances toward the sound while keeping an eye on me. “X-ia! came the voice again, “Dinner time! If you don’t hurry Panthor will steal your cream!†He hisses at you and bounds through the yard disappearing into the house. Not a kitty huh? You walk away laughing to yourself.
