Sitoa was considered a Guardian, as to whom he watches over, Eitlina.
Eitlina was a Goddess, a woman of great purity.
She was always though of as a woman to wear dresses made of the finest silks.
A great evil wanted this Goddess dead. No one knows why,
but it is said that she denied him her hand for another mans heart, which
was Sitoa. Angered by this he continued to hunt her down.
So that was when the bond between the two lovers was made.
As he wanted to keep her safe yet always be by her side,
Sitoa bound himself as a bear. Keeping Eitlina from harms way.
As Sitoa watched over her and ever so often will he be seen in the open,
but a mere glimpse never wooed anyone into believing.
He fought away the evils that haunted them, his scars began to corrupt
his body, and slowly began to kill him.
For every scar he gained a day of his life would die.
One night they camped in the snowy mountains, near a small town covered
in snow.
Eitlina told him stories and sang melodies.
The next day the man who wanted his lovers hand, found them,
Sitoa fought him with every ounce of strength he had.
A long... Painful battle, they fought it for three days. Until
the final third day the battle ended.
Sitoa winning just barely for the sake Eitlina to live on.
He stumbled to the small town and he fell to the ground, and as he let out a cry,
the ground began to melt of the snow and of an odd occurrence;
flowers and grass began to grow from under him as he slowly began to fade away.
Eitlina appeared over his body and sang one last song.

To this day old folk tales of the Guardian named Sitoa with a watchful eye for Eitlina still lives on...
