Lorelei

According to German legend, there was once a beautiful young maiden, named Lorelei, who threw herself headlong into the river in despair over a faithless lover. Upon her death she was transformed into a siren and could from that time on be heard singing on a rock along the Rhine River, near St. Goar. Her hypnotic music lured sailors to their death. The legend is based on an echoing rock called Lorelei (Germanic name meaning Luring Rock) near Sankt Goarshausen, Germany on the Rhine River.

There is a world undiscovered by Subetians that consist of only Harvesters. A portal between this relm and our own opens only on a full moon. Octuber is the only exception. Every night during this month the portal is open but only those who have a speacil bond with death can find it. I came alone to Riverside Valley on the first day of october to explore this world and its inhabitents. I never thought I would stay. It\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s has been a good few days before a strange creature I have never seen before came to me as I was singing in the middle of the park. I assumed he was just another guy, memorized by my haunting melody. You see I process a speacil ability, rare even among my fellow people. I have a special hypnotic voice that can take control of any member of the opposite sex. I am as you can guess... a Siren. The down side to this is that my hunger for energy is even stronger than that of a normal Harvester. So there I sat on top of some dome shaped struture with holes in it; no doubt for chrildren to crawl in and out of. Invisable to the naked eye because of my natural talents. I see this guy came up to me but when he got close he stopped and looked stright at me. I paid no mind as I came floating down. I have never seen a creature like him before. I thought at first that he was a Rreign but I paid no mind as I bared my fangs and held onto his shoulders. Of all the guys I had that night, I must say he was the cutest. ...Okay he was the hottest. *blush* As I leaned in to his lips... he spoke. "Um...what are you doing?"

He was aware!? Even worse... he could see me!? I hadn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t realized it when he looked at me. I was so sure he was under my spell. Shocked, I backed away. There was only one explanation. This boy, once had a brush with death. He had almost died or he did and then came back. This was not good. I escaped into the woods. After that night, I kept bumping into him. Most of the week I spent avoiding him. Why wouldn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t he stop chasing me? I started to fear that he was one of those hunters that my mother warned me about. One night, he caught me...

"You sure do play hard to get," I hear him say from above after I decided to rest by a tree after flying for what seemed an hour. He jumps down from the branches and before I can escape he brabs me by the arm. I had no choice. I drew out my sythe from my ring (that\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s how we harveters carry our sythes) and swung it at him. To my even greater surprise it is blocked by one of the most beautifully crafted sythes I have ever seen. Such craftsmenship but why did he have one. We struggle with each other. Our sythes were hooked together. "I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'m sorry, if I scared you," he says to me sincerly before I break it off and jump back.

"Who are you!? What do you want!?" I demanded to know.

He makes his sythe disappear and like a gentlemen bows. "My name is Drakel. I am a Drake from Nutrino."

He stands upright and continues, "I wish to know you better. I have always been fansinated with harvesters ever since I learned of them, espacilly sirens. You have a very beautiful voice. I am glad I can hear it without turning into a zombie." He finishes with a smile.

He was working his charm like any boy would but somehow, it was working and I too began to crack a smile. That night we talked and got to know one another. At the end, it was I who wanted to get to know Drakel better and so every night after that we would meet. And so here I am now. A human\\\\\\\'s pet... D: and I\\\\\\\'m loving it. :) What are my parents going to think. An even worse question I don\\\\\\\'t want to think about is, What will my parents think of my relationship with Drakel?

October 31st-I have decided to become Drakel\\\\\\\'s girl friend. It won\\\\\\\'t be easy since we harvesters are not allowed to show our faces to non harvesters. Heh... even better, we\\\\\\\'re not suposse to be even dating them. DX But Drakel is falling for me for my soul and not my looks. That\\\\\\\'s worth something, right? I fear I may break the rule of the veil but I fear worse on how Drakel will react to my looks if I ever decide to show him. In Halloweven I am considered to be as beautiful as a full moon on a clear night. In subeta... I do not know what the reaction will be.

(Just a note-Harvesers are not vampires. We don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t bite necks but we have the ability to drain energy. I was simply going to inhale a bit from him.
