GabcatOran is just there. He's always just there, no one really pays him any mind and that's the way he prefers it. He's one of the people that you might see on your way to work or one of the people in the midst of a crowded New York city street. You'd never guess that he's a piano virtuoso, or a somewhat ok singer. You'd never realize that he actually works at the library you visit maybe every other month. Looking at him, he's not that different from anyone else. Sure, maybe a little tall and lanky, but not too different.
He was born to two Scottish immigrants, tossed into the bustling New York City life because of his father's job opportunity. Never one to particularly like crowds or loudness, the big city didn't fit him well at first. Rather, he didn't fit it. Gradually he adapted and grew used to the conveniences and drawbacks of living in such a large busy place. School wasn't the optimal place for young Oran either, but he made the best of it besides the slight teasing because of his accent.
His passion was always for books and music in school. He liked art class too, but couldn't draw worth a dead turnip. He never went to college, believing it to be a waste of time, and after graduation got a job at the library and a small, small flat. Now he just blends in and lives his life, playing the old grand piano that he inherited and reading.
