In the events of The Darkside Chronicles, Krauser is Leon's partner. The team is sent to South America to locate a drug lord named Javier. On their way they meet a young woman named Manuela. They later discover that she is no other than the daughter of Javier himself. In an attempt to protect Manuela, Jack has his arm injured by a mutated monster (Maneula's mother, Hilda.) Krauser is intoxicated by the power of the virus and is convinced that is beneficial to him. Once Javier is defeated and Manuela is detained by the government, Krauser starts his search for Wesker.

In 2002, Jack Krauser supposedly died in a helicopter crash, when actually he had faked his own death to seek out Wesker and gain the power he now craves. Once he started work with the Organization he was sent to infiltrate the cult of Los Illuminados and obtain a sample of the Las Plagas. He was then ordered to kidnap the President's daughter, Ashley Graham. Leon Kennedy is then sent to rescue Ashley. Leon and Krauser meet at the ruins on the island and begin their battle. Krauser reveals his mutated arm and his new found power. In the end, Krauser fell, but he was not, as Leon thought, dead.

After Leon and Ada meet near the prison area, Ada goes to the rooftops and meets Krauser one last time. He fought like a lion but he was not the victor of this battle. He was killed once again, but this time for good.
