Aderes is a very quiet person, not unkind or unfriendly, just quiet. In public places he’s part of the crowd and tends to blend in, as he feels he’s nothing special. He does like company, in fact he’d love it more often than not, but he’s learned to deal without and is very independent. His quiet nature tends to just keep people away instead of bringing them closer.
He has a small temper, and can be short with someone if they say something about someone he cares about. He doesn’t mind if they bother him, just others. Aderes is usually however, just withdrawn. He's extremely protective of those near him and just a generally nice guy. He’s extremely polite; the type of guy who would give his coat if someone needed, or bring them flowers if they were feeling sad.
Aderes can be awkward at times because he is not very social. He blushes easy, and stutters. He’s fond of quiet times, and believes some things just don’t need words. Sometimes he wishes he was good with words, and could make people smile just by something he said. But it’s hard for him to open up to new people.
He’s learned to open up some after meeting Faite, but for know the other is the only one who sees the more softer side of Aderes. Aderes can be a romantic, cook nice meals even if he’s not very good at it, or simply curl up on the couch with him and watch romance movies.

Aderes grew up in the city and had a relatively normal childhood up until his parents’ divorce when he was twelve. He chose to stay with his mother, someone he viewed needed him more. She remarried sometime later, but up until then, Aderes had worked odd jobs around the city to help his mother out. The two were fairly close, did absolutely everything together. Once she remarried, it didn’t change and Aderes even learned to accept this new man and call him father.
When he turned eighteen, Aderes moved off on his own, deeming his mother more than capable now that she had a new husband. He keeps in contact with her, but has yet to hear any word from his real father. To keep himself self-sufficient, as to not burden his mother, Aderes worked long hours at two jobs. During the day he was a cashier at a local grocery store, and at night three times a week he worked in a large warehouse lifting heavy boxes.
He soon got lonely living alone, and picked himself up a small pet, Van. She’s his constant companion and the two are very close. She often curls up in his pockets or his hood as he works. She’s been known to take refuse in his shirt. He was grateful for her company for years, but he still wanted a true companion. He often called his mother often, who told him he needed a nice girl or boyfriend. Aderes, while blushing, agreed.
Aderes was pick up flowers for his mother’s birthday when he met a young man by the name of Faite who worked at the shop. Aderes made excuses to keep returning to the shop to see Faite, even going so far as to make up relatives he could by flowers for. He finally got up the nerve to leave the other flowers and his number. Surprisingly, Faite seemed to enjoy his company as much as Aderes enjoyed his, and called.
Since then the two have become almost inseparable, Aderes often taking the other out for dinner or inviting him home to watch movies. While sometimes, he was so tired from working he’d just fall asleep curled up with Faite, Aderes knew he was in love with the other. After about a month or so, he got up the nerve to ask if Faite would move out with him, find themselves a place of their own. Faite accepted.
The two have been living with each other for some time. They’ve even adopted a family of kittens. Aderes quit his job at the grocery store, instead helping Faite with his flower store which has expanded and doing quite well. He does still occasionally work nights at the warehouse, but he’s not as tired as he once was and he’s more happy than he can remember.
Aderes knew he didn’t want to lose Faite, and although he was young, wanted to propose to the other. So in secret, he worked a week straight at his night job to save up and bought a simple gold ring. He proposed to the other, and much to Aderes surprise, Faite said yes. No plans have been made as of yet for the wedding, but the two do not really seem to be in any rush either.
