Dimitris used to be a very happy and out-going kind of kid. He grew up, usually in the top of his class and got involved in some sports during middle school. But after freshman year, Dimitris became the stereotypical emo kid. He withdrew in himself, dressed in dark clothes and barely spoke to anyone. He keeps quiet, and is extremely hard to talk to, mostly because he’s very shy himself and stutters.
He comes off as angry at the world, and in a sense he is. Dimitris has no friends, save Chrystian. He’s easily the target of lots of bullies, not only for the fact that he is the emo kid, but also because he’s gay. Dimitris, unlike a lot of people, is not afraid to say that he is. Obviously this is what gets him in trouble.
Dimitris, underneath it all, is just a very quiet person. But he’s honest, says what he means when he does talk and is completely genuine with his feelings. He can snap as he has a little bit of a temper when he’s pushed enough. But he’s never gotten angry at what people do to him, only when it happens to someone else he cares for.

Dimitris is the oldest of two children, and was a relatively normal kid growing up. He had a few good friends in his grade in elementary, spent the nights at their house and played baseball in the yard. Even as a kid he liked music, and danced around the house to it. When his little sister, now three years old, was born, he helped his parents take care of her. His life was relatively average up until the end of middle school.
He started to notice he was attracted to other boys. At first, being scared, he tried to hide it and kept to himself and his school work. It was a week or so into his freshman year of high school that a sophomore boy approached him and asked him out. Dimitris would have said no, if it was not for the fact that he had had his eye on this boy for a while. Dimitris braved telling his family, always told to be honest from the day he was born. His mother accepted it, and his father started off slow, but gradually did as well. He’s still quite unsure of it all, but he cares for his son.
Dimitris’ boyfriend, was hard to even call a boyfriend. He’d only spend certain days with Dimitris, and he was never allowed to hold his hand or kiss him. Dimitris at first, thought this was because the boy must have been afraid as he was to say anything. But as freshman year wore on, Dimitris was allowed fewer and fewer times with him. He’d hang with other boys and even girls, and Dimitris was never invited.
He was rather hurt and heartbroken. Dimitris was head over heels in love with someone who wouldn’t give him the time of day. Finally, it all fell apart when he confronted his boyfriend in the hall one day, shouting in front of most of the school to kiss him if he loved him. Of course, the boy only looked at him like he was crazy and this turned Dimitris into a pariah. And it started a string of being bullied which lasted into his sophomore year.
After that Dimitris changed, he shut himself off from people, dyed his hair and simply tried to disappear. A stroke of luck came when his dad got a new job and they were forced to move a city over. Dimitris left a lot of the people who had beat up on him, however, he now has to start in a new school and get used to a new city.
He was lucky enough to meet Chrystian however, within a week of him moving. They met at the mall where the other works, and Dimitris agreed to go to his house after he got out of work. Surprising both himself and his family, Dimitris asked Chrystian to try for a relationship that very night.
Dimitris hopes this will help him feel more comfortable in the new place and in a new school.
