"Goddamn butterflies."


Nervosoitaet (Ner for short) was born in Ireland. He lived a good life with his family and the human tribe he protected until about the 5th-6th century when the *sidhe were driven out of Ireland by Christianity and the Romans. Many of his fae brothers and sisters were killed by religious zealots trying to purify a “pagan” Ireland. He escaped into the Otherworld of faerie to prevent his death and to mourn the dead.

Recently, he fell out of a thin spot of Faery and into New York. He made it into a park were he now resides in an Oak tree. He's begun to venture more and more into the human world, but mostly keeps to himself.He's generally polite, though not extremely accepting of things that he's not used to. He's also quite confused by how the human world is today than when he went into hiding.



*Note: The sidhe (pronounced “shee”) are a type of Irish fairy. They are human sized and more akin to gods than little people with wings.
