Forseti (Old Norse: "the presiding one"), the god of justice in Norse mythology and top judge of Asgard. According to the prose edda he is the son of Baldr and Nanna and resides in Glitnir, a shining hall made of gold and silver. The German island Heligoland was possibly sacred in his honour.
