One before before Number 10, Ichichi,
and one behind Number 8, Nero.

This experiment was a complete failure.
It showed absolutely no signs of gaining any
abilities anytime in the near future,
which we couldn't afford to keep.
Not to mention that its body
seemed to have trouble keeping its soul alive.
We had to make a special collar
to keep its body regulated.
Even after releasing,
it gained no abilities and proved to be rather useless.

We didn't expect Number 10 to show up, however.
Thinking he had found someone of his own "species"
he attempted to make friends with 9.
This was a good chance to try to surface 9 or 10's abilities.

However,
before consulting us first,
9's owner at the time,
removed his collar,
causing 9's spirit to completely die.

This event angered 10,
unleashing a small amount of some power.
This hadn't been a complete failure, then.

Seeing as this is of our creation,
we don't expect the body to decay
no matter how much time passes.

As we went to collect the body,
we discovered that it seemed to be missing.

We've lost it.
