Have you ever had one of those days where nothing seems to go right? Maybe you'll oversleep, run out of coffee, lose your shoe, and hit every red light on your way to work. Then on your lunch break, you'll get stuck behind that garbage truck that stops every two seconds and reaks of rotting milk and week old anchovies. By the time you make it to the restaurant, they're not serving what you wanted, but it doesn't matter because they'll mess up your order anyway. Then of course you're late, and the only parking spot left is that one under the big tree where all the pigeons gather. You'll get that annoying customer that likes to scream at you over something that's couldn't possibly be your fault, while ranting loudly about how incompetent you are to your boss. By this time you have a bad headache, but of course you'll confuse the aspirin for a laxative, and of course it'll happen right as that cute guy or girl you've been eyeing walks in. At this point, you're probably ready to cry, but you have to keep smiling because the rent is due in a week and you really can't afford to get fired. This will prove increasingly difficult when you have to happily ask that creepy old guy "HI! HOW ARE YOU TODAY?" and he replies simply with "Horny!" while eyeing you up and down and winking.

By the time you get off work it'll be pouring rain, and by the time you get home you'll be sobbing. Your roommate will ask you what's wrong, but all you can choke out is "No coffee, the pigeons, laxatives!" before you're too hysterical for anyone to understand you. By bed time, you'll realize that it's just been "one of those days."

My name is Miffed. You may have also heard of my friends, Damned, Catastrophic, Barbaric, and AIDS. I've always kinda been the underdog in the group. I can't cause a catastrophic disaster or infect someone with a deadly disease, but I've made it work for me. I've learned that if you take a bunch of slightly annoying events and cram them all into one day, you can break anyone. And I LOVE breaking people. It's kinda like a hobby of mine really. Some people enjoy knitting or stamp collecting, but I personally love watching people cry. So the next time you're having 'one of those days', just remember, your pain and misfortune is my pleasure!
