Born to wealth, this set of sisters were protected through the early years of their life. They could get what they wanted, but this had very different effects on the two girls. CariDee, the older sister, grew to become popular and spoiled, while Tiffany, the younger sister, grew to become a hippie-like person.
As the years went on, CariDee bought expensive bags, and Tiffany saved trees. Their parents appreciated CariDee and shook their heads at Tiffany, but as long as both girls did well in school, they accepted it. The girls also managed to stay close, even though Tiffany did things that made CariDee's friends snicker, and CariDee's expensive leather bags almost caused Tiffany's friends to strike.

Tiffany held the baby Floraffe closer and let it have its baby bottle of nectar. "Awww! And she was caught in that nasty trap that McShawn keeps on his grounds?" Annabelle asked. "He's such a cruel man!" Tiffany nodded in agreement. "Yes, I pulled this little gal out of the snare," she confirmed. "I just couldn't let him get her." She smiled and watched as the Floraffe struggled to empty the bottle, even though she was pretty full.

Tiffany walked down the hallway, late for class again. Her parents would kill her, if they found out. But they had spend all the recess on helping out some people camping in trees with food and the like. She looked back to check that Solstice, her Floraffe, was still behind her, and gave the minion a happy smile, as she opened the door to the class room and clearly interrupted the professor. "I'm sorry, professor. I had to..." She looked confused at Annabelle, who was pointing at her. "I need to talk to you, miss Schaumburg," a cop stated. The professor looked at her with worry in her eyes, as the cop grabbed her elbow and gently led her out the class.
As officer Jensen explained CariDee's situation, Tiffany almost couldn't help laughing about the ridiculous in the situation. "Look, officer. CariDee wouldn't kill Eric, she adores him. Well actually, I just think she loves how they look together, but same result. Go look for a new suspect, you got the wrong girl." Tiffany leaned back and crossed her arms. "I know my sister. She'd never do something like that." Tiffany looked after officer Jensen, as he closed the door after him, leaving the room. She felt so alone and confused, and she couldn't even begin to imagine what CariDee was going through.
As Tiffany stepped out of the interrogation room, she met her parents. Her father looked distanced, and her mother was crying. She shot them an apologizing glance and left, heading towards the woods immediately. As she sat down among the tall trees, she took a deep breath, sitting in her lotus position and then called out for Lai-Lai, the forest spirit trusting her the most, holding out a gold bonbon, realizing with a small stab in the heart that this was CariDee's favorite flavor. Then she waited. Finally, a little purple light shot out of the forest towards her, stopping only a few centimetres from her nose. "We need to find a killer, Lai-Lai," Tiffany told the little light. "Killer, Midsummer?" the little, high-pitched voice answered, confused. "How?" Tiffany hid her face in her hands with a sob: "I have no clue..."

Midsummer tied the knot on the string of her satchel around her waist, as she got up from the patch of moss where she had been sleeping. She stretched as long as she could, then grabbed her staff and started walking again. At some point she'd cross a brook, or a small spring and she'd get water there. And if she got hungry, there were berries and fruit all around here - Gaia certainly provided one with everything one needed. She called out, and a moment later, Solstice came tumbling through the woods towards her with happy sounds. Of course, Sol managed to completely knock over Midsummer. Rolling on the moss laughing, she was reminded of how much fun she and CariDee used to have. She looked up at the sun rays finding their way through the leaves, and the small dust particles dancing in them, wishing she was powerful enough already to find CariDee...
