Well. I started with bowls and vases like everyone else. 30 of us in class, all women, mucking around on pottery wheels. Getting in touch with our inner earth goddess. (laughs) What a load of bull. Then I began putting out figurines - little doohickies for the kids. Whistles, little ponies. They love those. (laughs) They told me, though, that animals just aren't original. So I'm doing them a little different now. Also, faces. Portraits, busts. Impressions in clay. But the ponies still sell best.
