She is a simple, shy eight year old girl who doesn't have many friends. She is fine with this, however, because she claims to have all the friends a girl could need. Zua has a collection of exactly 19.5 barbie dolls and 6 ken dolls, in which she is emotionally attached to. She also has a kitten named Fat Louie who she pulls around in a red wagon. Fat Louie, is in fact, very overweight for his size. Zua adores him and insists that he is perfect the way he is. He's her best friend.

Zua is also a Girl Scout. She is currently a Brownie Scout, but she will soon be graduating to a Junior Girl Scout. She has a Girl Scout vest with lots of pretty patches on it and she likes to wear her vest all the time, even when she's not scouting. Her favorite part of being a girl scout is the cookies because she loves to go door to door selling them (she pulls the boxes around in her red wagon, with Fat Louie included). She especially likes that selling cookies gives her an excuse to visit her elderly neighbor Dotty.

Dotty always invites her inside her house and tells her all sorts of stories. Some of them are interesting, some of them are very far-fetched, and some of just them make no sense whatsoever, but Zua likes hearing them anyway. Dotty has 2 cats named Archie and Peaches and 3 kittens named Dora, Kiwi, and Bailey. Zua was the one that came up with the name for Kiwi, she felt that it suited him.
