Before you sits a lovely Chibi Fester, the light seems to catch every feather showing her plumage for maximum effect. Her head tilted, a blue eye gazing into yours, she begins to speak, "I haven't seen you since I won the pet spotlight of 2013. I was quite different back then. I had a different person caring for me, and I was a bit, shall we say, nightmarish." With an avian shiver, fluffing up her feathers, she continues, "I was in a different form at the time, and had to leave, to find my true self and calling."
Nodding, you listen, encouraging her to continue with her story. "I reinvented myself, as we all do over time. Through magical trial and error I became a Fester. Now I know the general attitude towards my kind is a bit skewed. We aren't known for our musical skills and people still look upon us fearfully. I am not a harbinger of death, I am an Opera Singer!"
Turning her head to the side, to examine you with her other piercingly blue eye, she produces a beautiful flurry of song for a moment. You wish she didn't stop, and suggest that she finish the song. "Ah, that was a sample, you must buy a ticket for tonight's show, if you wish to hear a real performance! How else am I going to afford to ply my palate with exotic foods? I am a bonafide epicurean. Food is my passion, as is music, style and place in society. I am a LADY after all. I've worked hard for my title and all that comes with it. Though I do admit I am the first of my line. No whistlets in my nest yet. Though I have a few prospective mates out in the wings.."
Trying not to visibly wince at her pun, you finish your tea, and promise to hear her at tonight's performance.
