What happens when you are appointed king of a nation but have none of the skills? Well, you crash and burn that's what.

Atherton was heir to the throne and after his father's untimely demise he stepped up to the plate. However, unlike most heirs, Atherton had no previous desire to ever be king and spent much of his time in frivolous pursuits instead of learning the inner workings of a kingdom.

So, after the second famine, fourth attack from raiders, and the third missed celebration to the Gods, the townsfolk had had enough. In classic mob fashion, they grabbed their pitchforks and stormed the castle. It didn't really take much effort to convince Atherton to give up this throne and leave the town, he always was a wimp.

After leaving town, Atherton wandered around for a bit before finally settling down in the Arctic Tundra. Why he chose to move there and not someplace a bit more tropical is anyone's guess. The Arctic is a rather lonely place though and it started to take affect on poor Atherton.

To alleviate some of the boredom, he made himself a friend, aptly named Bob. Bob was a snowman. Many deep and philosophical conversations have been held with dear Bob, and I'm sure many more will come.

There are many other friends in the arctic if you look hard enough. Suzy the fern and The William Brothers, a couple of snowflakes, all make for great company when Bob is otherwise occupied.

Overview:
Atherton was briefly the king of a moderate sized village, though due to negligence on his part the villagers formed a mob and ran him out of town. He now resides all by his lonesome in the middle of the arctic. He now finds friendship in a snowman named Bob, Suzy the fern, and The William Brothers snowflakes.

- The rune markings on his back are emerald green, as is his earring.
- Usually rather haughty and sees nothing wrong with befriending inanimate objects. If you disagree, well pity you with your small mindedness.
