You know my Bidoof? Well he's different than other Bidoof. My Bidoof is in the top percentile of Bidoof. It's like he's in a whole new class of Bidoof. Just wanted to tell you that.
Youngster Joey's Rattata has nothing on my Bidoof.
Bidoof, the Plump Mouse Pokemon, or Vendor Trash Pokemon to some, is the 13th Pokemon in the Sinnoh dex and 399th in the National dex. It evolves into Bibarel at level 15. A Bidoof can grow up to 1'08" and 44.1 lbs, and have the abilities Simple, Unaware, and the hidden ability Moody.
Although most people don't like Bidoof, finding them annoying or preferring to use them as "HM slaves," Bidoof are to some trainers as cute, squishy and cuddly. If you're looking to have a Bidoof or two in your home, take a look at these steps to avoid any future problems and heartache:
* Bidoof get along well with most Pokemon species except for Fighting types. As with any new pets and Pokemon, supervise introductions and play incase a conflict were to occur.
* Bidoof can be bred with Pokemon from the Water 1 and >Field type egg groups, and also the Pokemon Ditto. Depending on the mate, some Bidoof will take longer to breed than others. A female Bidoof will lay an egg after a successful breeding, and most of the time will pass its species on to the offspring. If you're having trouble having a successful breeding, however, you could always ask the Day Care Man to see what he thinks.
* Bidoof are the happiest in homes near bodies of water. Provide plenty of wood and sticks so they could make their own dams or nests. If those aren't available, they are satisfied enough with wooden house full of fresh straw, and a kiddie pool full of clean water.
* To keep a Bidoof at a healthy weight, they'll need to be given a diet of seeds, roots and various plants. They love having berries or pieces of tree bark for treats. Use these as rewards for good behavior.
* Because their teeth grow like any rodent, a Bidoof needs to be provided with something hard such as wood to chew on. As with any other rodent Pokemon, Bidoof are known to grow violent if their teeth grow uncomfortably long.
* If you own an indoor Bidoof, training is a must to keep them from chewing on things such as expensive furniture or family heirlooms. Again, provide wooden chews, and reward for good behavior.
* Should your Bidoof happen to evolve into a Bibarel, give it the same love and care as you would when it was a Bidoof. Keep in mind that it has become a larger Pokemon, so you may need to modify your techniques to accomodate!
