i'm dead.

it wouldn't be such a big deal if i stayed dead. i didn't. nothing has ever been that easy for me. when i die, i can't just stay dead. i have to come back. i would take the rotting, gross, squishy bits of the undead, but i'm not even that. i'm still me. still miserable me. except now, nobody can hear me or see me. when i open my mouth, all i can do is sing.

i wish someone would just hear me. just once. maybe then i can finally die in peace.

used to be a good kid, some hole in the wall you'd see a thousand of me a day kid. then i get hit by a car, and this is where i end up. dead, but not really. i don't even think i categorize as undead; i'm not rotting, i dont want brains, i'm just... here. i still get hungry, i still have to sleep. not much has changed except for the fact nobody can hear me. i sing like a god damn bird every time, those high notes that only birds seem to reach. i don't know why i was kept alive because i didn't accomplish anything in life and 'm not the least bit vengeful for my death. i died. things die. people move on.

but not me. of course, not me. for once i stop being that kid you see a hundred times a day. there has to be something keeping me here but god knows what it is and why. whatever it is, i hope the intentions are revealed soon.

it's really, really lonely here.
