Nemesis snaked his way past unsuspecting dolls and stuffed animals, who went about the everyday business of imaginary townspeople, unaware that a terrifying villain lurked so near. Before the teddy bear guard could rally, he broke into the bank!
Digging his way through Monopoly money with fiendish abandon, he came to a box containing a flawless emerald ( which was an emerald, and not at all a Ferret treat ). With his treasure in hand -- err, paw, he turned to escape, but --
"Stop right there, villain!"
A small girl stepped into the bedr-- that is, bank. Wearing a lime green and black shirt and matching pants, she looked like a cartoon character. The green mask she wore and electric lime streaks in her hair completed the picture. She adopted a wiseguy accent and spoke from the corner of her mouth; apparently this was Nemesis line;
"Oh yii-eah? And whos gonna stop me?"
Revertig to her previous tone, she shouted,
"I am! Neon Guy! I'll make you pay for your cr--"
Nemmy, you stop eating the emerald!"
Neon Guy sighed and pulled off his mask. Magically, he was revealed to be none other than little Adelaide Hart. ( Of course, she never answered to "Adelaide". Adelaide was a girls name. She went by Adam; a much more fitting name for a Superhero in training, which is what she was. )
And upon closer inspection, Nemesis looked more like a small brown Ferret with a red cloth napkin safety-pinned around his neck like a cape, and less like an eight foot Rodent-Man with a dark past and a spin-off series in the works. He blinked up at her and crawled into her lap.
He didnt know anything about an emerald, all he knew was that he was always tired after Find-The-Snack-Time.
"Aww, Nemmy, you ruined it... I bet Batman never has this problem with his villains."
