Personality: Iseul is quiet for the most part. As a child, he learned quite fast how to be responsible and for that does fine on his own even though he does prefer company. He’s kind-hearted and gentle, taking care of those close to him.

And yet, Iseul is a bit of a loner. He lives alone in a small apartment with only his small pet, Sil, named after his dear friend as company. Most choose to stay away from him because of the way he acts, quiet and rather mysterious. And therefore, most do not get to see his real side.

About: Iseul grew up in a small town and was the middle child of three. He was raised along with his little sister mostly by his older brother and his mother, as his father left died when he was very young. While his older brother was out of the house most of the time working to support the others, and his mother was tending to the baby, Iseul was left to do a lot of things around the house. He learned to cook at a young age, and took care of his little sister when his mother was unable.

However, when he was able, Iseul truly loved art. He’d sit for hours if he could, drawing or molding things from clay. His mother was always very supportive, even though she knew there was no way she could ever afford to send her child anywhere where his talent could be perfected. Iseul didn’t seem to mind, in fact, he was very content to just draw with his closest friend, Silendrile.

The two had been inseparable since they first met at a young age, their mothers being close friends as well. Iseul and Silendrile did everything together, and more often than not they were spending the night at the other’s house. When Silendrile’s mother moved from their small town hoever, Iseul was nearly broken. He locked away all his art supplies, as they didn’t mean anything to him anymore if he couldn’t share them with Silendrile.

Iseul soon became very closed off. He barely spoke to any of the other children, and for that slowly became shunned by them. His family worried, but they could not follow Silendrile’s family. Iseul took a job when he was able, and worked while still talking care of the house. Finally, with a blessing from his brother and mother, moved to the city in search of his friend.

It didn’t take long for Iseul to find Silendrile. He had hoped that the other has stuck with his art, and so Iseul took a job at a local art supply store. And sure enough, his friend came in. Yet, much to Iseul’s dismay, Silendrile did not recognize him. Even when he made an effort to talk to him, the other didn’t seem to remember him.

But years of being closed off had left Iseul much to shy to say anything, and he was quite sad his friend didn’t seem to miss him as much as he had. So he watched the other from a distance, waiting for each day that he’d come into the store.

Iseul is also now working part time at night at a local glass ware shop as an apprentice. He enjoys what he does, even if he does not get paid very much for it. And hopes to perhaps pursue this as some sort of career.
