August is the representative of Summer and the warm weather associated with it. He is a perpetually happy young man, always appearing in great spirits despite whatever might be happening around him at the time. His curiosity can cause him to be a bit of a troublemaker, but his favorite pastime is just relaxing and watching the world go by. August is fond of warmer weather, obviously, and often argues with the representative of Winter when he makes it snow in Theede.

August grew up in a seaside fishing town known for its beautiful beaches -- tourists would flock there from all over Pridd for their summer holidays. August's family owned a small bar near the beach, which catered to many of these visiting tourists. August had helped out at this bar ever since he was small, and as he got older, he loved testing out all of the marvelous mixed drinks that his parents had to offer. [lol it would be good if I expanded on this section right here.]
One day, a man came to visit their bar; he told August's parents that their son had great magical potential -- that if they would let him, he had been chosen to be trained to one day join the court of the gods. August was eager to experience new things, so with the blessing of his mother and father he accepted this training. August was eventually chosen for an opening in Telamaine's court, joining Aerynn, Pentas, and Medi as the four representatives of Pridd's seasons.
August still enjoys his fruity drinks even as a resident of Theede, though he pouts a bit when others try to convince him they are 'too girly' -- they're just delicious!
