Screaming. That was the first thing I registered. Who was making that blood freezing sound? It took me a moment to realize it was me. I was screaming myself hoarse. The pain was next. Every inch of me was on fire, as if lava were flowing through my very veins. I writhed, smashing into things. Blind to what was around me. Finally, through my fog of pain, I heard her laughter. It originated somewhere to what I would guess was my left. I tried to open my eyes. I noticed first something green. I thought it was seaweed. The way it moved... It was peaceful.

Then, I began to focus more. It was connected to something. My eyes moved up and I screamed again. It was connected to the serpent lower half of a woman. Her pale skin shone, bare except for the lilac colored brasserie. Light glinted off the gold she wore on her wrists and neck, and the little hoop in her navel. Her dark hair, a stark contrast to her skin, flowed around her as if were at the mercy of the water that surrounded the island. Her lips, pale and colorless like the rest of her, were parted in mad laughter. And her piercing, blood-red eyes shone with madness. Before I passed out from the pain, I heard her speak. Her voice was clear and the last thing I remember of that incident. Her words to me are long forgotten, however.

When I woke next, a warm breeze was ruffling my hair. I opened my eyes and painfully bright lights hit my them. I squeezed them shut, now painfully aware of the dryness in my throat. I croaked, lips, tongue, and mouth parched. A cool glass was pressed into my hands. I attempted to open my eyes once more and saw a shock of messy red and black hair. I dropped the glass and tried to move away, but the girl grabbed my wrist, demanding that I calm down.

Little did I know that from that moment, I would meet the person that would become my best friend, and face things I wouldn't have ever dreamed of. Who is the person? Her name is Xipil. And I'll never forget it.

Ceminar is 5'5" tall and appears around 16 or 17 years old. Her brown hair, with lighter highlights, is usually in two pigtails on the side of her head, and her sea-blue eyes are usually hidden behind blue tinted glasses. Her preferred outfit is her blue turtleneck, with a brown vest over it, a short, puffy navy blue skirt, and brown boots that come up to her knees that Xipil SWEARS makes her look like a pirate... At least from the knees down. Despite everything, however, she cannot hide the two slightly curved black horns protruding out of her head, nor the fin like extremities on her wrists, ankles, or back. Though she tries ,preferring to always wear some sort of long sleeved top that goes past her wrists, her boots, and a backpack. She also has white and lite blue markings going up her arms and legs, and on her cheek, along with light brown scars on her eyes.
