Archos is from a race of very, very old beings who have been around since the planet's beginning. They are long-lived and solitary, tending to stay far away from other creatures and each other.

While they aren't the nicest people, they are usually harmless. Unfortunately they look rather horrifying and humans think of them as malevolent demons.

Archos is the only one that has been seen in recent years, and due to an unfortunate accident that wasn't actually his fault, hunting parties are sent out to slay him nearly every month.
