STORYTIME
Sunlight seeped through the closed blinds, resting atop Astro's eyes. He rolled over to escape the rays, but his entire room was already engulfed with the morning light. Slowly coming to consciousness, his ears picked up an unnatural sound. Stirring from his warm hammock, he slithered out of bed to investigate. His ears swiveled back and forth, leading him to Lazuli's room. Lights flashed beneath the doorway of her bedroom. Curiosity held Astronaut tight. Gently, he turned the knob and peered in to see 6 bright computer monitors. What could Lazuli be up to?, he wondered. He slinked low to the ground, aware that the little plush kanis was only a couple feet away. She sat where the monitors converged. As Astronaut drew nearer, he could tell some of the screens displayed images of outside the house. With a blink, they changed to images within. Blink, and he saw mother Nuclear preparing breakfast. Blink, he saw himself. Lazuli turned around, and before Astronaut could blink again, he blacked out.
Astro awoke in a comfortable position in his hammock. Memories soon washed up, and he dashed out of bed straight to Lazuli's room. No loud whir came from within, no glaring lights. He cracked open the door to see the kanis curled up tight in her bed, not a computer screen in sight.

Basic Information: Age: Six years old, and pretty darn smart. He can usually be found with his nose in books related to science, space, or rocketships. This doesn't mean he isn't a big ball of energy, though. Special: Small midnight blue star on left cheek. Crescent moon patch in the right shoulder area. Although he is a chibi pherret, he has the color scheme and wings of a chibi torrey. Friends: Astro originally hung out with Lazuli because he suspected her to be a German spy. Although he doesn't want to admit it, he has grown to like her. He also admires and receives inspiration from Ryan. Future: Determined to be an astronaut! |
| Test Subject #1 the Space Monkey Uncle Robot gave Astronaut an exotic monkey for his 5th birthday. Excited, Astro suited the monkey up, stuffed him in a small toy rocket, and set him off into "space". A couple days later, the subject returned with rock samples! They turned out to be monkey poop ;o |
