Beginnings...


Sharp, black eyes snapped open, peering around into the darkness. There was no gradual waking. No haziness of left over sleep. Only instant and acute awareness.

Unfortunately that awareness didn’t seem accompanied by knowledge.

He knew he was a he. He knew he was awake. Had he been asleep? Where was he? Why was it so dark? Why was he laying on something hard? Where was his soft bed? Why did his head, legs, entire body feel so strangely light?

But most importantly…

…who was he?


Stitch isn’t really sure who or what he is. He ‘woke up’ one day, alone and in what appeared to be an abandoned workshop. Upon further inspection he found the place littered with bits and pieces of cloth, stuffing, needles, threads and other doll making materials. It was then he realized that he himself appeared to be a plush doll.

He is fairly certain he was not always as he is now. He sometimes get flashes of ‘another life’, but he can’t clearly understand them. At times he wonders if they are even real, or just products of the massive headaches that seem to accompany them.

And just how does a plushie get headaches anyway?

He has vast amounts of knowledge, but he isn’t sure how he came by any of it.

He has a fear of/attraction to magicks. His reactions to anything regarding them can be extreme.

He also has a small cache of items that have ‘spoken’ to him as he has come across them. Among these are a missing persons flyer and an article about two missing teens. He keeps them hidden away. They upset him, but are strangely comforting at the same time. Again, he isn’t sure why that is.

He hopes to some day learn more about his past and who he may have been, if indeed he was ever truly someone at all.
