Lead singer of indie band The Miasma
Lives in Lower East Side New York
Originally lived in Brooklyn, moved to Manhattan to study computing science in a prestigious university
Was a nerd in high school and was afraid of standing out too much, because she was bullied, so kept her head down low and focused on studying and getting good grades
Originally quite shy, introverted and reserved, but living out of her parental home with her flatmates has opened her eyes
Huge fan of music from the 60s, 70s, 80s
Best friend passed away due to an accident, made her rethink life
Felt that life was too short to live with limits
Quit uni to pursue her passion in music
Works during the day at a record store, occasionally helps out at a bookstore nearby
The band was formed when she overheard one of her flatmates playing guitar, then they were able to recruit a bass guitarist who they met while busking in the subway and a drummer whom they overheard their music when he was walking pass their apartment building
Music influenced by garage rock and proto punk
Underground and unsigned, the band plays gigs at music bars around town in hopes of making a breakthrough
