Poor Vignette has dreamed of literary fame since he was just a little chibi antlephore. For years, he tried to come up with a complete story...but all he ever ended up with was detailed sketches of scenes and mountains of crumpled paper. As the years passed, Vignette became convinced that he just hadn't found the right materials, that if he just could find that one pen or pencil and that one piece of paper, the words would start to magically flow out of him the way music flowed from Beethoven's fingers.
In a drawer in his desk, he keeps all of the writing materials he's tried, and on the wall above his desk, he has all the pictures of the items he still has to try. So desperate to find the perfect materials, he's even decided to try eye make-up pencils and wrapping paper and toilet paper.
