Though they are no longer on Earth, my dogs will forever be in my heart and the hearts of those closest to me.
Hercules ( December 24, 2008 )
Two children, jittery with excitement and maybe too much sugar scared the latest addition to their family at the time. Cowering under the maroon truck, he stared with wide eyes at the girls. After several minutes of coaxing, he finally came out and happily accepted the treats from their hands. After that the girls would get in trouble nearly every day for letting him in to chew everything in sight!
Holly ( January 21, 2011 )
On Christmas, these same two girls were introduced to yet another new family member. As the garage door slid up into place, a puppy ran out to greet them. She was promptly named Holly for the time of the year they received her. Again, the girls allowed this baby to chew everything in sight, but they couldn't be bothered. When they found out she could climb chain linked fences, the chase was on once a week, but she would always come back.
Puppy ( September 23, 2011 )
This new addition was born into the family, the two now much older girls watched silently and hoped all of the puppies would make it. This "runt" had issue after issue, but luckily she pulled through. After that, they couldn't part with her; the only brown husky of the litter. She was much different and less destructive, but she was also the most timid of the bunch.
