Hidden somewhere in the world is an island. It's a place like no other place. It heals the sick, emotionally and physically, but most importantly, it gives second chances.

At least that's what it seemed.

In reality, the only reason people were healed was so they could be forced into an ancient battle between two brothers, black and white, good and evil. Carbonel was dragged into that battle and remained on the island for over 200 years. His curse, as he called it, was immortality given to him by one of those brothers. Finally, when the war ended and both sides ended up destroying each other, Carbonel was free. Free of both his curse and the island. Now he's retired :)
