Reborn Ruffie
Gravel crunched beneath Braxton’s shoes as he strolled along the narrow path through the woods behind the Devereux mansion. When he reached a fork in the trail, he took the right-hand path without hesitating. After a few more minutes of walking, Braxton entered a large clearing in the forest. A small grin was spreading across his face, and his eyes were fixed on the giant greenhouse standing in front of him. 
As he got closer, he reached down to the key hanging from his neck and gently pulled the necklace off. Braxton stopped in front of the door and after furtively glancing around he slipped the key into the lock and turned. As the door swung open, he inhaled deeply and allowed the rich aromas of the building to fill his nostrils. 
He surveyed the room, smiling as his gaze jumped from flower to beautiful flower with the occasional tree or non-flowering vegetation interspersed. Nothing made Braxton feel happier than being among his motley assortment of plants. He had known since he was a child that he wanted to be a botanist when he grew up. When he was 8 years old, his mom had bribed him into helping her in the garden. He agreed reluctantly to help her plant tulip bulbs and water the flowers that had already started to grow but soon discovered that he actually loved it.
Braxton sighed with satisfaction as he walked to his work bench which was located between his growth of Snowdonia Hawkweed and an apple tree. How did I get so lucky? He knew he owed his happiness largely to his brother, Ponce, who had first introduced him to Tisky. Tisky had offered to build him a greenhouse and obtain any plant he wanted (and he really did mean any). Braxton plucked an apple from the tree and took a bite before starting his daily routine of greeting all his flowers. 
“Hello, there little tulip, you’ve gotten taller since yesterday. And so have you little orchid.â€He went through addressing them all like this. All 462 species.
