FlyingkatI have always been afraid of drowning. In fact I think it is my number one fear. Things under the water also scare me. Like a ton, who knows if a croc is going to just bite your leg off if you aren't being careful, or a dinosaur? Yall shall Jurassic Park 3 right?
I happened to fall into a lake once. JUST ONCE, at least only once. This is when WD came to the rescue. In all honesty I thought she was a snake or a croc and I starting kicking violently when I felt her slithery paws grab onto me to keep me from drowning. Did I also mention I am not the best swimmer?
Soon enough however I realized she was pushing me up, out of the water, maybe just to get this kicking crazy girl away from her lake. Wouldn't want me to die there, my spirit would linger and haunt the dickens out of that lake. For saving my life I asked if she would come home with me, begged really and she agreed, to get me to calm down I think. She mostly lives in the lake near my house now but at least if I go swimming I feel safer getting in the water.
